Kodachrome Passes On

For all of you who remember shooting Kodachrome, here's a nice story on the last roll Kodak made, and what happened to it: http://www.kansas.com/2010/07/14/1403115/last-kodachrome-roll-processed.html

The last time I shot Kodachrome was in 2001, while leading a photo trip to India. I could have taken a state-of-the-art 2.7 megapixel digital camera, or film. I figured if there was ever a place to shoot Kodachrome, India was it. And for a change, I was right :) That turned out to be the last time I ever shot film. I have great memories from the old days of film and darkrooms, but with the state of digital today, I’m glad they’re just memories. Good-bye Kodachrome, rest in peace.
